What is Behavior Modification?
Behavior Modification training is for the pet k9's that have behavioral issues and need more training than just teaching basic obedience.
Newman's Dog Training will come up with a plan specific to your dog and put in the time to help them feel more comfortable in their environment and situations they go through on a day to day basis.

Behavior Modification Training
Is your dog or puppy needing to learn more than just basic manners and obedience cues? Behavior modification is used to help with many issues including resource guarding, a dog with a bite history, dog reactivity, fear of strangers and other behaviors that can include aggression.
Our CPDT certified trainer will come to your home and create a training plan that is customized to you and your dog or puppy.
Because these issues are more advanced than the basic obedience training the price may vary case by case.
How does this work?
After filling out the contact form here that gives us details of the issues you are having. Our trainer will set up a time for the first training training session where you will get valuable information and a training plan will be formed. At this session your trainer will let you know how much training will be involved to help with these behaviors and that is where a quote would be given.

How the process works:
First Training Session
During this first meeting you and your trainer will go over your goals and expectations.
You will be given instructions on how to start the training and this will be the first training session.
Trainer works one-on-one with your dog.
Your trainer will come to your home Monday through Friday and work directly with your dog for 1 hour.
You will get updates on their progress and how to maintain what they are learning as the training progresses.
Follow-Up Training Session
Throughout the program we make sure you are involved and now how to maintain the behaviors your dog is learning.
Once the program is complete, we will set up a follow up session to answer any questions and to make sure everything is still on track.
Dog or Puppy Behavior Modification Pricing
The Behavior Modification training program is a 4 week training program to get your dog on the right path. Every dog and situation is different and for that reason the price may vary based on the individual. If there needs to be adjustments to the price this will be made very clear at the first training session.
The 4 weeks of training with a follow up training session is $3045.00. To get on our schedule initially you will put down a $200.00 deposit to hold that initial training session. If you sign up for the full programs the deposit will be taken out of that payment and 50% of the balance will be due to hold your reservation for the program. At the start of the program the remaining balance is due.
After the completion of the behavior modification training program if you would like more follow up training sessions, these are deeply discounted to $130 per session.
If you decide you would like to do the training on your own with our guidance, the Private In-Home Training Packages below would be a great fit. The $200 deposit will go towards one of those packages and be considered the first training session in the package you choose.
