Our professional puppy trainers come to your home in Northwest Arkansas to build essential skills, confidence, and lasting habits — tailored to your pup’s unique needs.
Is your new puppy biting, jumping, or ignoring your voice the second you step outside? Are potty training accidents and leash frustration wearing you down already? Do you want a well-mannered companion — but just don’t have time to do it all yourself?

At Newman’s Dog Training, our Puppy Day Training programs are designed for busy Northwest Arkansas families who want the best for their puppy, without sending them away to boot camp.

Whether you choose our Mini Program or full Signature Puppy Day Training, our certified trainers handle the heavy lifting — then show you exactly how to keep progress going. You’ll build a better-behaved puppy, a calmer home, and a stronger bond.

Have questions about how our in-home puppy training works? We’ve answered the most common ones below to help you feel confident and prepared.
We typically start puppy day training around 10–12 weeks of age, once your puppy has had their first round of vaccinations. It’s ideal to begin early so we can shape good habits before bad ones take hold.
Nope! You don’t need to be there while we train your puppy — but we will update you regularly and include scheduled progress meetings to teach you how to reinforce the training at home.
We focus on foundational skills like sit, down, recall, leash walking, crate comfort, no jumping, and housebreaking. Each plan is personalized to match your puppy’s age and your family’s goals.
We offer lifetime trainer support! You’ll also receive reinforcement strategies and video resources to keep progress going. You can always schedule follow-up help if needed.
The Mini Plan is perfect for getting started with basic behaviors over 3 weeks, while the Signature Plan includes 4 weeks of more frequent training visits and is better for addressing more complex goals like leash reactivity or strong-willed pups.
