In this course you will learn how to:
Socialize
Potty Train
Curb Puppy Biting
Crate Training
These are the fundamentals to teaching your puppy how to be a canine in a human household. It is best to start day one when you bring your puppy home.
Do you already have your puppy and are struggling? That is okay! You can jump right in!
No reason to wait to teach your puppy the following!
Potty Training: Are they having accidents in the house and you just don't seem to be able to keep up with it? We will teach you everything you need to know on how to get your puppy to go potty outside!
Socialization: The critical socialization period for your puppy is from the time you bring them home until 16 weeks of age. This doesn't mean stop socializing at 16 weeks, but start as soon as you can! We will go step by step on how to properly socialize your puppy.
Puppy Biting: Puppies are land sharks! They will put everything in their mouths, including your hands, as they are learning how to use their mouths. Have it a goal for them to not use their teeth on you by the time their adult teeth come in. That is between 4 to 6 months of age. Start working on it now!
Crate Training: The sooner your puppy can be comfortable in their crate the better. Crates are wonderful management and safety tools! If you can't supervise them they should be in a confined space so they can't make the wrong decisions and reward themselves. We will teach you how to have your puppy go into the crate on command and how to teach them to enjoy being in their crate.
